We had a google classroom assignment. We tried numbers 2,4,6,8 on the assignment. Remember, if the equation is in standard form, the equation of the line is -A/B. On these problems, set up a proportion.
IXL D6 to 100. To solve use the slope formula. Remember y2 - y1/x2 - x1. The slope is also rise/run.
IXL D7. Get to a score of 95. This is over y = mx + b. Graph the b (y-intercept) first, then use the slope to find another point. Then draw your line through the two points.
In google classroom an assignment was posted. You need to graph the first 10 equations.
26-37 on page 72 of the textbook. Get into standard form. The rules are on page 70.
p 65 of the textbook problems 11-22. Answer the first 3 questions and just graph the last problems.

We took a 3-problem quiz over systems of equations in 3 variables. Then we have an assignment 3.5 textbook p 175 problems 2-11 and 17-25. Write your answers in matrices.

1-5 on page 157, section 3.3. Graph each one, find the corner points of the feasible region, and then find the maximum and minimum values of this region for the function.
We wrote inequalities today over word problems. Problem 3 on page 147, and problems 4,16,17,24 on page 149. Write inequalities over all of these problems. Do not graph any of these problems, just write inequalities.
Worksheet 14 from section 3.2. Graph the inequalities and shade above or below the line (most of the time). Whatever get shaded in twice is the solution for the system of inequalities.

To finish these systems of equations using 3 variables, we're going to do a combination of the last 2 days. On page 165 from the textbook, problems 14,15,16,7, and 20 (only a&b) are going to be assigned. It would be great if you could do these on a new sheet of paper. If you get done early, you can find something else to do.
Now you're going to take what you know about systems of equations in 3 variables and use that to help you solve some word problems (oh yeah)! The most important thing here is to take your time and set up 3 equations for the problem that you think are correct. Then, once you have them set up, solve them by using substitution in some way. On my website, section 3.4 worksheet 26 do problems 1,2. AND on worksheet 29 do problems 1-4. Thats enough word problems for now. Please put these on a new sheet of assignment (notebook) paper. Remember, decide what variable you're going to eliminate, then eliminate that variable twice and create a system of equations in two variables, then solve that system and use back-substitution to solve the rest of the system. 4. A, B, and C have to be integers. (multiply by the LCD to elim fractions).
Sorry I could not be with you today. Open up your textbooks to page 61 (section 2.1) and study the chart in the middle of the page. A one-to-one function is a function when the domain elements all go to a different (unique) member of the range. An onto function is when each element of the range is used. And you can obviously see when they are both. Remember: a function is when there are
repeating x-values in a set of ordered pairs.
Also study everything else that is in this section (seriously).
The assignment is 1-32 from the textbook on pages 64-65. If it says to graph a problem, you do not have to graph it. Ignore graphing problems. On problems 15-20, make me an x-y table to show me 5 sets of ordered pairs for the given equations. (hint: look at example 3).
